The ACTR is a multi-disciplinary collaboration of leading transplant scientists and clinicians sharing a common interest in developing innovative approaches to clinically relevant "bench to bedside" research. The diversity in research background makes the ACTR at Dalhousie University one of the finest in terms of expertise and quality of work. The main focus of this laboratory is the immunopathology of solid organ transplant rejection. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for transplant patients with acute or chronic graft rejection using novel therapies without the side effects of current immunosuppressive drugs.
